Accommodation in and around Northam
Northam is 100 km from Perth City. If you decide to come and stay in Northam overnight please keep in mind that there are occasions when your balloon flight may be cancelled on site early the next morning due to weather. We will assist with weather forecasting where possible, but it is difficult to be accurate too far in advance. Our best weather information is available on the day prior to the flight. Much depends upon micro-meteorology in the Avon Valley, where conditions are vastly different to Perth and can be changeable even at first light on the morning of the flight. Please note that a decision to cancel balloon operations will not be influenced by accommodation commitments. If we know in advance that the weather for ballooning in the Northam area for the next day will not be suitable then our staff will call all of our passengers by 1.00PM the day prior to the flight.
