Weekday Family Specials
We offer a family special on weekdays. Our weekday price is discounted to $270 per person, and up to two children accompanied by two full fare paying adults are at a further discounted price:
- 8-16 Years $240 per person
- 17 Years (Highschool) $255 per person
The family specials are available for school holidays but not public holidays. Limited spaces are available. We recommend that children are at least 8-10 years old, at which age they are usually tall enough to see over the edge of the basket (which is 1.2 m high) without being held up, but most importantly, mature enough to stand for an hour to enjoy the balloon flight without becoming bored (and disrupting other passengers).
Avon Descent 2011
Join us on the morning of the start of Avon Descent, August 2011, when we launch and aim to fly over the start line of the fastest white water race in the southern hemisphere. This special morning is the only day of the year that we will actually launch from within the town of Northam and aim to fly across the official start line, prior to the start of the race. It's quite spectacular to fly over town, across the start line and the Avon River to see busy competitors and crews preparing their boats for the big race. The gentle pace of the balloon allows plenty of time to view all and take lots of photographs. We are usually joined by some of the other private balloonists on the morning so there will be lots to see. Our 2009 & 2010 Avon Descent flight were absolutely spectacular.
