Dear All, I want to thank everyone at Windward Ballooning Adventures for helping me to realise my lifetime’s ambition of hot air ballooning on Saturday morning. July 4. As an ambition of over 50 years, that’s no mean feat! The reason I decided to realise my ambition now was to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary (yesterday). Yes, we were very lucky with the weather, but it was the professionalism of the pilots which made the experience so memorable. Their knowledge and attention to detail regarding client satisfaction and safety, and, most importantly, their sense of humour, ensured that our journey in the Windward Adventurer was a truly joyous occasion. It really was a dream-come-true for me. The flight was surprisingly quiet and very serene; flying at various heights also made it very interesting, as the visibility changed with the altitude. The breakfast afterwards was the perfect culmination of a wonderful morning, and we enjoyed our talk with Gren about the balloon fiesta held in Bristol (UK) each year. Hi Heather On behalf of Lynne and myself, just wanted to thank you and all of the Windward Ballooning crew for an amazing time last Friday. From the moment we first booked right through to the moment we left the hangar on Friday morning, the entire experience was first-rate. I go on a lot of adventures, and this was definitely a highlight amongst them! We loved every part - congratulations to everyone on a job well done! Also, if you are interested in the feedback, we’d also like to let you know that we stayed at Brackson House the night before, and we were absolutely thrilled with every part of their accommodation and service too. Peter and Maureen were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating, and the place itself was awesome. You couldn’t go wrong enthusiastically recommending Brackson House to any of your clients! And so, between Windward Ballooning and Brackson House, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Naturally, we’ll be recommending you to everyone! Have a nice day! AJ

Heather, Just thought I would drop you a line and say that we were wrapped that we finally got to do our balloon ride. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and couldnt have asked for a nicer morning. The guys were great too, the opportunity to be in the smaller basket with Geoff was good too as we were able to chat with him and learn all about hot air ballooning. Thanks for allowing us to put off our ride until the kids got back from their trip overseas, it made it so much more special that we were all able to do it together even if it was a bit belated for Brian's 50th. Hi Belinda, Sorry for taking so long in thanking you and your team for the great morning and balloon flight that Claire and Paul, Emma and myself enjoyed. I must admit I was a bit envious in the end because I reckon I could probably have managed to go up without my knees caving too quickly. Anyway there is always another time. Emma and I can have a go later when she is tall enough to see over the basket. It was great meeting you and to be able to put a face to the name. Hi Damien, I experienced something for me very special this morning like a coming home, a feeling of being one with the sky, of peace and awe of the tremedous beauty I had before me and the extreme trust in the Balloon and its Pilot. I just felt so GOOD!! Thanks to you all for your passion which allows people like me to touch the Sky (and the leaves on the tree tops!!). Dear Damien, My Mum (Joy) and I were lucky enough to experience an amazing flight in your hot air balloon on Friday 2nd May. Thankyou so much for showing my Mum such respect & kindness in getting in & out of the basket. She celebrated her 80th birthday in such a memorable way & bid my Dad fairwell as we scattered his ashes over Northam. ..... She had such an amazing experience under your careful guidance & expertise. I was a little unsure of how I would go as I have a fear of heights but at no stage did I feel unsafe or afraid. Thankyou soooo much. My father is now resting peacefully in the Avon Valley and Joy & I have a beautiful memory of releasing him to truely "be one with the wind". Best wishes Ali & Joy
