I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge, huge thank you for allowing me to take a hot air balloon experience with Windward Balloon Adventures on Sunday 24 April 2016. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect and I was rather nervous, especially when my wimpy friends decided it was too scary for them. However, I got the last laugh as they missed out on one of the best experiences of my life. The lift off was so smooth it was hard to believe we were actually moving. The flight was so peaceful, relaxing and serene it reminded me of being in a swimming pool lying on your back with your eyes closed and just gently floating, only so much better when your in the air. The professionalism of our pilot, Damien Hays, was outstanding. His knowledge and sense of humour remarkable. The crew again was outstanding. The whole ballooning experience was so professionally run from when we arrive and had coffee and biscuits to the full breakfast at the cafe and one I won’t forget in a hurry. Once again, thank you.

To everyone involved with our flight this morning, from our consultations via email and mobile (girls in the office first instigation of booking and sending of gift certificate for presentation), to the boys today (Leon, Damien and Andrew(?): I would like to let you know how much Sheridan and I enjoyed our flight this morning. The whole experience was magnificent. Your professionalism is certainly worthy of the tourism awards your business has been presented with. We loved every moment even having to wait due to fog, the early morning start and the cold, and then helping to pack up at the end. The ease of the journey was really quite unexpected and we were most surprised at the ability to land the basket on the trailer (I know that you have had a lot of practise Damien!). It was really special. Please pass on our thanks also to the staff at Fitzgeralds for the beautiful breakfast they prepared for our group today. It was delicious. Hello, my partner and I just wanted to say a big thank you for a fantastic experience on Saturday. We loved every minute of the morning. The excitement of watching the balloon being filled with air, the first flame, then lift off. Our pilot Damian made it very relaxing with his commentary. And the breakfast was amazing as well. The scones were the best I’d ever had. So thanks again, I will highly recommend Windward to all my friends. It’s the best way to see the Avon Valley.
